Here are 7 classic kid birthday party
game ideas that are always successful. And you can easily make all of them
fit your party theme.
Incredible Musical Statues
They'll have lots of fun with this one and they'll even be still for a short
time.
Have all your party guests move to the
center of the room. Start playing some music related to your theme. Have
your guests start moving in silly positions and dancing around. Then stop
the music and have all your guests freeze like statues. Anyone who moves is
out. Start the music again and have your party guests start moving in silly
positions and dancing again until the music stops. Have them freeze like
statues again. Keep repeating this until only one person is left. The last
remaining party guest is the winner.
Crazy Mixed Up Message Relay
A kid birthday party game idea that will have them laughing!
Have all your guests sit in a circle. Have
your birthday child think of a silly phrase or sentence related to your
party theme. Your birthday child whispers the message to the child on thier
right. That party guest whispers the message to the child on their right
until the message goes all the way around to the person sitting just to the
left of your birthday child. That guest repeats the message out loud... The
birthday child then tells everyone what the original message was. Everyone
then gets a turn to come up with a message. The more the message gets mixed
up, the more fun it is.
Pass The Gift - Open The Gift
Hot Potato In Reverse!
Before your party, wrap up a small toy or some candy that all the kids will
want. Then wrap it up again and again and again, over and over again in
layers. You can even wrap up boxes within boxes. Anything to make the game
go on for a while to build excitement. Have all your party guests stand in a
circle. Start playing your theme related music and have the first child
unwrap the first layer. Then the second child unwraps the next layer until
one of the guests unwraps the last layer and the gift is revealed. That
child wins the gift.
What In The World Am I?
A great kid birthday party game idea for
everyone.
Tape a picture on each child's back. You can cut out pictures from magazines
or just about any other source. The pictures can be characters from your
birthday party theme, or it can be pictures of animals or bugs. Have your
guests start asking each other questions to find out "what in the world they
are". But the questions can only be answered with a "yes" or a "no."
Questions like "do I have wings?," "am I brown," or "do I have legs?" The
child who guesses "what in the world am I" first is the winner.
Lots A Socks
How many socks can you put on?
Get a whole bunch of socks. They don't even have to match. Place the same
number of socks in two bags, or two baskets or two boxes. Line up your party
guests in two teams. Start your party theme music and give the first players
on each team just 30 second to put on as many socks as they can. When you
stop the music, they must stop putting on socks. Then count each child's
socks. The one with the most socks wins. Keep track of each teams sock count
and when the last two party guests have played, the team that put on the
most socks wins the prize. Have your party guests remove thier shoes before
you play so they can put on the socks. This kid birthday game is always a
favorite.
Silly Musical Hats And Wigs
Crazy hats and wigs make lots of fun!
Place a couple of chairs in the middle of the room and put hats and wigs on
the chair seats. Have all the kids form a circle around the chairs. Make
sure you have one less hat or wig then children playing the game. Start your
party theme music and have the children walk around the chairs. Then stop
the music and have the children grab a hat or wig and put it on. The player
without a hat or wig is out. Now take out a hat or wig and start the music
again. Repeat this until there is only one player left... Always remember to
have one less hat or wig than you have players. The last two players will be
trying for only one hat or wig. A terrific game!
You can pick up some silly looking wigs and
hats at a party supply store.
Funny Chin-To-Chin Pass
A birthday party classic that'll have um laughing.
No hands allowed... Line up your party
guests in two teams and start your party theme music. The object is to have
each team pass a balloon, a rubber ball or an apple or an orange from
chin-to-chin down the line to the last player. If the object being passed is
dropped, that team has to start over at the beginning of the line. The first
team to pass the object all the way to the end without dropping it wins!

Looking for Birthday Party Ideas? Here
are Some Great Ideas
By Mike Yeager
Having a memorable birthday party means
coming up with some great birthday party ideas. If you are having a birthday
party for your child or anyone who is a child at heart, you will want to
plan it to be fun and exciting! Birthday parties are a great excuse to meet
friends and family and enjoy a day of laughter and smiles. Having some basic
plans for the day, will make in not only go smoothly, but it will allow the
planner time to enjoy themselves as well.
Think all you need to do is buy a few
presents and a cake and call it a day? Doing some extra planning makes it
fun and enjoyable for everyone. For instance, take a few minutes at the
nearest craft store or maybe party supply store and look at all the birthday
party supplies available. You will definitely find things like birthday
party invitations and decorations, but you will also find birthday party
games and even birthday party theme ideas! Especially if you are planning a
kids birthday party, you will want to pick a theme. Themes can range from
children's characters like Elmo and Disney characters to simple things like
horses or cars. Find something that fits the child's tastes and interests
well. You can usually find table clothes, invitations, balloons, birthday
party favors, and more to match the theme you have chosen.
Of course, you can always make the birthday
party a surprise! This element works well on just about anyone. Try doing
this with an adult who thinks their birthday has gone unnoticed. Or, a child
who thinks they are just getting a few toys and pizza! What a memory that
will be! Don't want a surprise? Try planning the birthday party as a nice
dinner out with just the closest of friends. Find out what their favorite
restaurant is or favorite theme park. Make it a picnic or a day at the
beach.
Birthday's aren't just about getting a few
gifts. They are about family and friends celebrating the day a person
special to them was born. They are about celebrating the life that person
leads and showing affections and respect. Make it special to that person.
While you may enjoy a big party with lots of people, others would rather a
quiet night at home with a few close friends. Great food, great friends and
family, and a day planned in their honor will make any person feel special
and feel important. This is what we hope to gain in a birthday party, right?

All About Kids Birthday Cakes
By David Chandler
Do you know what is so special for a
child's birthday celebration? It is the birthday cake. They love the moment
of cutting the birthday cake. There can be so many gifts for the child, but
the center of attraction is the birthday cake. Therefore, it is worth
putting a lot of time and money in planning the birthday cake.
More than the taste, we need to concentrate
in shape, color, and size of the birthday cake. It is always better if we
could design the birthday cake in cartoon characters that are familiar to
the children. If the birthday cake is made in the birthday child's favorite
color, they will obliviously love it.
The birthday cake idea
If the birthday cake has a theme or idea
the attraction for it, is immense. Here are few suggestions. There are
Pirates and Princesses, a classic birthday cake themes for boys and girls.

decorating ideas
Once the birthday cake is made or
purchased, it should be decorated well. The decoration is generally done to
the top and sides of the cake. It is always better to decorate the birthday
cake using the favorite color of the birthday boy or girl. The table in
which the birthday cake is placed also should be decorated suitably.

recipe Chocolate Whipped Cream consists of Frosting-1 ½ cups, Heavy Whipping
Cream1 ¼ cups, Powdered Sugar- 1/3-cup, Baking Cocoa-1/2 teaspoon, and

Children's birthday cakes
Children's birthday cakes must have a good design, shape, and size. If the
cake has any theme or idea, the children will love it. If the design
resembles a familiar character to the children like noddy, it will be an
added attraction. The suggested children birthday cake models are Pureed

Child Birthday Party Game Ideas
By Mike Dougherty
Need some fun child birthday party game
ideas that will turn your child's party into an instant success? Here are
some great games that your party guests will love.
The Secret Of The Mummy
Divide your party guests into two teams... Have each team choose a
player to be "the Mummy."
Then give each team three rolls of toilet
paper... Then start your party theme music and see which team is first to
wrap up their Mummy from head to toe... To make things more fun, you might
want to give them a two minute time limit... A great child birthday party
game idea!
What's That Smell
Blindfold each party guest one at a time, then place something in a
paper bag for them to smell and see if they can guess what it is...
Try a peppermint, gum, toothpaste, cheese,
a slice of pizza, cherry candy, grape candy, a banana, peanut butter or
something milder like a slice of bread.
The Great Detective
A child birthday party game idea they're sure to love.
Have your birthday child go into another
room and make a slight change in their appearance... Put on something
different, one different sock, reposition their hat, or take off or add some
jewelry... Then have them come back in the room with their party guests and
see which guest is "the great detective" and can figure out what's
different.
Quick Change Artist
Give each child a bag that contains a big over-sized shirt, big pants,
big socks and a big knit or floppy hat... Start your party theme music and
say "ready - set - go!"
Each player starts putting the baggy
clothes over their own clothing.,.. The first one to put on all the clothes
from the bag is "the quick change artist."
You might want to have your party guests
remove their shoes to make it easier to get the big socks on their feet.
Sneak Attack
Have your birthday child sit in a chair in the middle of the room and
place a blindfold over their eyes... Place an object under the chair. It can
be a stuffed animal, a toy, a small bag of candy or a wrapped gift.
Keep everyone quiet as your party guests
try to sneak up (one at a time) and take the object under the chair... If
your birthday child tags them, that player is out and the next player must
try and take the object... Your birthday child can move their arms around,
but don't let them use their feet.
Silly Dress-Up
A great child birthday party game idea for everyone.
Take lots of wild - colored shirts, pants,
hats, socks, scarves, jackets and anything else you can think of and have
your party guests see who can come up with the silliest, funniest, craziest
costume.
Wild Animal Act
Write the name of an animal on a piece of paper, fold the paper in half
(so you can't see what's written) then put all the pieces of paper in a
bowl... Have one party guest take a piece of paper out of the bowl and act
out that animal... The first player to guess the animal correctly then takes
a piece of paper from the bowl and acts out that animal... Keep playing
until all your party guests have had a turn.
Wacky Balloon Race
Divide your party guests into two teams... Have one player from each
team put a balloon between their knees... When you say "go," start your
theme music and both players race to the finish line without dropping or
popping their balloon.
If a balloon pops or the player drops their
balloon, that player has to start all over again with a new balloon...
Every player on each team must race with
the balloon. The team that finishes first wins.
Child Birthday Party Game Ideas
You can vary each of these games to make them appropriate for the age
group of your party...
Have fun, laugh, enjoy, take lots of
pictures and shoot plenty of video!
